Stroke of Midnight!

                      HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Well, my New Years was celebrated a little earlier with my son and this evening has been pretty laid back.  I don't venture out anymore but tomorrow we'll do more celebrating.  Maybe I will give steak a try.  YEAH!

My sister and I sat around watching movies, I played a bit with graphics, and we'll watch the ball drop.  Locally they are also dropping a car.  Yes, you heard that right.  I am not sure what the object is and/or if they giving it away. We'll see and I will let you know tomorrow.  I have this ready to post and save as the clock strikes 12.  I'm a dork like that.

Again, wishing you all a Happy New Year!

Hugs

~d

Ahhhh, I am alone this year and can not sleep, I try and then get back on line again. My daughter is with her fellow on a ski trip and my son spent this week end with his girl friend and my love is off with others working on a film. So here you all are still posting:) Happy New Year! It is still 11:37PM here and I am listening to banjo playing on PBS TV. LOL

Happy New Year.

Erm...whats the "ball drop" thing.
You are going to have to tell me as balls dropping means something to do with boys becoming men in this country. If you celebrate new years by watching that then you live in one hell of a messed up country!!
:o)

Donna, how nice to start the New Year with a post from you. As usual your posts are the first on my list even though you are generally my last one at night. Yes you are addicted! Maybe even as much as I am (average six hours a day).
Good luck with the steak, after five weeks you should be able to enjoy it. I still, after seven weeks, have trouble when I try to bite things off using my front teeth but I am managing well. Looking back I am certainly glad I had the surgery. They really feel natural and comfortable now.
Flyers are on a winning streak. Two in a row. Not as long as the twelve game losing streak. The new coach does not seem to have helped. You did hear that Bobby Clarke retired, probably in disgust. He was the greatest player we ever had.
Yes the Eagles took their division and are in the playoffs only four more games to their Super Bowl victory. The Super Bowl is all I see and hear on the news today. Philly is going nuts in a cool way.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you! Bill

How sweet that you waited 'til midnight to wish us each a perfect Happy New Year!!!  I'm like you, didn't really do much, spent it a friends down the street, we ordered pizza, watched a couple of movies, then watched the ball drop, with son, friend, and friend's daughter.   Today, went to breakfast, and made a roast beef for dinner!! The Rose Parade's been on TV all day, so I've watched pieces of it.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
