What can I say? The weekend was great! The weather wasn't to awfully bad either. As we got closer to the camp the rain came and went, and came again. Timing was good though, as we pulled in and were ready to unload the car it had stopped again. This is a picture of the camp I took while out on the boat on Saturday. You can see the set of stairs. Killer stairs!! You park up top and come down the stairs with your goods to the camp, which sits right on the river. Note the fishing poles on the roof of the screened room. Saturday the water was a bit rough, but not so much that we stayed put ::grin::
I'll write more about the weekend later, just wanted to let you all know I'm home safe and sound. Tired, but ................. I did take lots of pictures and will share more later as well. I did want to put this one of the sunset up though. My nephew and his girlfriend out fishing. I couldn't resist the shot or the color. They are pretty close to the other side of the river, but not quite.
I'll get all my alerts turned back on tomorrow when I get home from work. Can't even think of that right now. I'll get tag requests out in the next day or two. Thanks for understanding. I do hope everyone is well and had a great weekend.

oh my those stairs are a killer for sure coming down and then when you are the tiredest going back up. Beautiful place though. Need a escalator. LOL

I am so glad you had a nice time. It looks like a great place to have spent a little bit of time. I wouldn't have been able to do all those stairs if it had killed me and it might have. My knee would have popped out and I'd have fallen and would have been sitting at the bottom waiting for the rest of you to come down the normal way. Looks like a gorgeous trip.
