Mornin folks!  Just wanted to pop in and let you know I'm ok, at the moment anyway.  This past week/weekend was the hardest ever.  You may or may not know I have a large family and having us all close by made things a bit easier.  It didn't always stop the tears or my heart from aching, but it helped.   Everything was beautiful, most of all my sister.  I was not surprised by the showing of love and support, my sister was an angel here on earth.  Being in the medical field herself she touched so many lives and helped so many.  She will be missed, but we do know she is in a better place and her pain is gone.

 

To all of you here in JLand I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Your words of kindness and support are matched by no other.  Let us never forget all the good we do have here... in spite of ourselves.  Cards, emails, comments,  have been so appreciated.  Though you may think it's something little it made my heart warm and my soul smile.  Thank you!  I did try to respond to each but under the circumstances I may have missed someone so I want to say thank you here and now.  I have my alerts off, but I know some have done entries for both my sister and I, the number of comments from folks I am not familiar with tell me that.  Thank you!!  I will probably turn my alerts on in the next day or two.  I want to ease back in.  My sister would not want me to stay away, she'd want me to jump in with both feet.   Either way I will try to catch up.  Just know I do appreciate all you've done for me even if I have missed it.  *hugs*

 

The sky is vibrant blue today and the sun is bright and smiling.  I woke to frost on the grass that glistened like diamonds.  My body feels like it was hit by a truck and I have plans of just being lazy today, no doubt a few naps.   My house is an absolute disaster but it will be here tomorrow.  Love you all and again thank you!

This by far is saddest and the hardest entry I've ever done.  My precious sister earned her wings and went home today.  My eyes burn from the tears and my keyboard is soaked.  I know she's in a better place, and without pain. But, my selfish heart aches... I miss her so much already.  I hate the thought of this void.  I can not do her the justice she deserves in this entry, it would take a week to write, if not longer.  

 

Thank you all for the support and love you've shown me, and her.  I know she will look down on all you with a special blessing. 

 

Seester know I love you and will forever.  I will never ever forget.....  You planned it to a 't', my precious sister..............  to a 't'.  Hugs and kisses to you always!!!

 

I'm heartbroken and at a loss for words right now, but know you all have helped me through this......

Hi Folks!  Again I want to thank you all for your sweet words.  Your kindness has touched my soul.  I so appreciate it, as does my family.   I've expired my most recent tag, and I am sorry for cutting it short.  I needed the diversion, but when I get home at night I'm just completely exhausted, and really in no mood to fill requests.  I am completely caught up and have filled all requests.  ::grin:: even those that were a bit late.  I will be back with more, but right now my heart and mind is in another place.  I do also want to apologize but I had to turn off alerts.  I've tried to keep up and be strong, but I need that strength else where right now.  I hope you understand.  The shoulders I've been offered are so appreciated and don't be surprised if I reach out for one or two.

~ If I Could Turn Back Time ~

            

.. yes, if I could turn back time I'd go more then an hour.  I did remember.. it just wasn't far enough.   I've always been one that said, 'I'd change nothing in my past to alter my future.'  The what if's would change way too much.  If I had taken that path instead....... I always came back to my son.  He is such an important part of my life I would do nothing to alter the chances of him being here with me.  My rock, my soul.  Then I sit and think, if I could change a little what would it be.  Would it make a difference today?  What could I, or any body, have done to have this awful disease not touch my sister.  To have it not touch anyone.  To sit and helplessly watch, to ache, to hope.......  to have prayer upon prayer and nothing changes.  I'm selfish...... I want her better.  I want to have months and months back!!  Years!  I shed tears as I try make sense of 'things happen for a reason.'  What possible reason?  'You are not given more then you can handle'  Bullshit!!  Life is so unfair..............  if I could turn back time.
