Mornin folks! Just wanted to pop in and let you know I'm ok, at the moment anyway. This past week/weekend was the hardest ever. You may or may not know I have a large family and having us all close by made things a bit easier. It didn't always stop the tears or my heart from aching, but it helped. Everything was beautiful, most of all my sister. I was not surprised by the showing of love and support, my sister was an angel here on earth. Being in the medical field herself she touched so many lives and helped so many. She will be missed, but we do know she is in a better place and her pain is gone.
To all of you here in JLand I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your words of kindness and support are matched by no other. Let us never forget all the good we do have here... in spite of ourselves. Cards, emails, comments, have been so appreciated. Though you may think it's something little it made my heart warm and my soul smile. Thank you! I did try to respond to each but under the circumstances I may have missed someone so I want to say thank you here and now. I have my alerts off, but I know some have done entries for both my sister and I, the number of comments from folks I am not familiar with tell me that. Thank you!! I will probably turn my alerts on in the next day or two. I want to ease back in. My sister would not want me to stay away, she'd want me to jump in with both feet. Either way I will try to catch up. Just know I do appreciate all you've done for me even if I have missed it. *hugs*
The sky is vibrant blue today and the sun is bright and smiling. I woke to frost on the grass that glistened like diamonds. My body feels like it was hit by a truck and I have plans of just being lazy today, no doubt a few naps. My house is an absolute disaster but it will be here tomorrow. Love you all and again thank you!

Good to hear from you, I still have you and the family in my prayers for comfort, it takes awhile, I know. Just know that your sister will be with you whenever you think of her and at times that you may not even know it, you'll just feel her presence and her love.
