~ And to all a goodnight ~

             DsDesignsandtoallagoodnight.gif picture by 55hockeyfan

It's been a long day, but here I sit watching a Hallmark movie in between playing on line.  Go figure!?!  If I just did one or the other I'd probably accomplish more :)   Did several things today, and get this.... I ventured out to the stores.  Yeap, me!  I did it!!  I got a few things for my son and his girlfriend and the little kiddies are done.  I spent the entire gift card along with about 35$ of my own money.  Not a bad day.  Not bad at all.  Bug was a breeze to buy for.  She loves frilly........  easy enough.  A couple of toys and some games for her and Gage.  I just need to grab him jammies and that is good.  I'm feeling pretty good about things..............

The stores weren't to bad, and when I went to check out I didn't even have to stand it line.  I was first!  For the most part shoppers were in a good and festive mood.  I only ran into one person who was miserable and dropped the 'f bomb' more times then I care to admit.  All over silly stupid stuff.  Who knows, maybe they didn't have what she wanted.

Well, the movie had a happy ending and now it's time to crawl in bed and get some sleep.  Hope everyone had a good day.

Hugs

Donna
Glad your shopping excursion went without a hitch.  I almost watched that Hallmark movie last night, but chose to dose off and on through "White Christmas" instead.  I should have gone with the Hallmark one.  I've never seen it and would probably have stayed awake, LOL.

You're a braver soul than I!  LOL I rarely venture out on Black Friday.  I can't stand crowded stores...and they are really horrible around here.  I do regret missing all the deals though!

Sounds like you picked a good time to venture out!  I really enjoy shopping when I can.  The bah humbugs of the world don't usually get to me the way they do some.  Unless of course they're downright mean, which I don't happen to see a lot of.  Glad you could find a few special items for the special people in your life!  Kids ARE pretty easy, although it gets a little harder when they're older.

I love a good movie...  I just finished a good, easy read, too.  Anita Shreve's "Light On Snow."  It's a nice way to escape sometimes.

Have a great week!

Hugs,
Chelle

I've been shopping little and making more!  Lots of hand made/hand crafted gifts this year.  We're going back to our old tradition of making gifts rather than buying.  Not that we won't buy ... we'll just buy a little less.  :)
