Ryan Miller, our starting goalie, had a break tonight. With starting the last several games and playing the last two (Wed and Fri), it was Jocelyn Thibault's turn. Jocelyn has been in the league for several years and actually played for Montreal way back in the day. He is a new comer to the Sabres. He was thrilled to start the game 'back home.' He pulled out all the punches and had a shut out. The boys won 3-0. It was an excellent game and the boys played extremely well in front of him. It's nice to see. Vanek, Spacek, and Hecht scored for the boys. Dare I get excited and think my boys are back? The win tonight allowed them to leap frog over a few teams in the standings and leaves them within points of being in the top 8 in the conference. The top 8 make the playoffs... but that is a long way off and there is lots of hockey left to be played. Sixty one to be exact :) Next game is Monday in Washington. Can the boys keep it going? Lets hope so!
