So, at my sisters house yesterday there was lots of coughing, sneezing, sniffling. Why I thought I was going to be immune to it all is beyond me. When I got up yesterday I felt a little queasy, but after being up a bit I felt fine. I got home last night and other then being stuffed from picking all day I was fine. I am not sure what time I woke up, but my head was pounding as though a freight train was running through it. It kept me awake for some time. I did eventually fall back asleep and the next thing I knew my sister was at my door calling my name. The alarm was blaring. I slowly rolled out of bed. I moved gingerly as I was afraid my head would blow right off my shoulders. As I walked around the house, my stomach wasn't feeling the best, and I had this odd sensation. I was hoping once I got up and moved it would be better. No such luck. After a bit I just called off work and went back to bed. I slept until after 11.
When I got up I felt a bit better, but not great. I had a bite to eat and hoped that would make things better. My head felt as though it was stuffed with cotton. Maybe more like cotton and molasses. Eyes hurt, sinuses ached, throat felt scratchy. And my head. OUCH!! After I ate, guess what. I went back to bed. LOL I pretty much slept all day. About 5 or so I started feeling a bit better. At least my head does not feel like I have that train, or a band with too much base up there.
Sitting here drinking tea with the OSU vs LSU game on. Ohio State took a 10-0 lead, but it's been all LSU since. Twenty four unanswered points. I for one will be hoping OSU can adjust in the locker room during halftime and come back strong. I was hoping for a close game, and it was for a bit... just wish the Buckeyes were in front.
Hope you had a better Monday then I... now will I be able to sleep tonight since I slept all day?

oh, if you had seen the ER today as I was leaving....I literally had to pick my way through the patients to get out the door!

i always feel lucky that i can call in sick and still get paid when i feel crappy, many people do not have that advantage. i hope you are feeling better soon and are able to sleep tonight!

I called he doc afer letitng a cold run it's course for a week...now have veritgo. Nurse said everyone in the office has it too. So from Chicago to Colorado to Florida and you are in NY...I must be a very fast moving bug.

Hope you feel better. I had that crap for 2 weeks and now am finally feeling better. I felt like you said you did. Couldn't hear anything, and it ended up being a sinus infection. I am rooting for OSU too since we are from Ohio and my daughter, son-in-law and g/daughter Zoe live in Columbus. :) Go Bucks

Here we cheered on LSU...had to - SEC conference winners...if it could not be the Gators or Seminoles or Bulls - then LSU was our choice...
YAYAYAYAY - they won!!!
Now the Gators have to get ready for next season....lol

I hope you feel better by now Donna..as always I am behind... Mom has been sick too...she got it from my nephew....this crazy weather it's a wonder we're all not sick....we had a couple days close to 70 and now we are back in the 40's....
