~ WTH?!?! ~

DsDesigns3-28-08.jpg picture by 55hockeyfan

Yeap, I woke up to a winter wonderland.  The heavy wet snow clinging to the branches of the trees.   It was actually very pretty.... but not for the end of March!  I took the shot of the barn next door out my bathroom window.  LOL  It was still fairly early and the morning light was just starting to show.  I kind of like the blue tint, and the pop of the color of the barn.  I'm not real sure about the clarity, but what they hell I like it.  LOL

On the way home, about 4 houses before mine I noticed several deer down in the backyard.  I turned my car around and pulled over.  It almost appeared as though they knew I was there.  Two looking straight at me, one had just turned as I shot.  The other....... well I think it's telling me, 'kiss my ass I'm eating.'  LOL

I wanted to share a new journal with you.  I really don't know the person well, but they've visited several times.  I was flattered when he commented stating my pictures inspired him to do something a bit different and get his pictures up on a journal.  I hope you will take a minute and stop by to say hi.

I'm glad it's Friday.  I am beat and I'm off to bed.  Tomorrow I get to go shopping for Gage.  His birthday party will be Sunday.  I can't believe he will be 9!!  I hope everyone had a good week and I wish you all a fabulous weekend.

Hugs

This weather wouldn't bother me as much if I had this view ~ Awesome shots, what an eye! I agree you have what it takes to capture such beauty! Hoping your weekend treats you well. Take care and enjoy,

Donna your photos are beautiful  just perfect in my eyes, but yes, unfortunately it is end of March.  Niagara Falls got a lot of snow, think we just missed it.  We may get some on the weekend.  Had enough of the white stuff  I would dearly love to see some green grass or even brown grass, lol.  Again your pictures are really lovely.

I love both of these photos!
You do very professional looking pictures, D.

It seems a big part of the country is having a late winter.  Here in WV, it's just rain.  Lots and lots of rain.  ::sigh::

Keep that winter coat out awhile longer!  LOL

XOXO,
bridgett

Such pretty pictures.  Did you happen to get a picture of the Groundhog or were you able to take a pot shot at it for seeing his shadow and condemming you to six more weeks of winter?  LOL  Have a happy, hopefully springlike, if even in your dreams, weekend.  Luv ya!

Gorgeous pictures Donna---just love them! Serenity---so pretty! Loved the deer and the simplicity of the barn-we got snow here too off and on since Thursday and not much accumilation but pretty nonetheless. I thought the same thing huh, snow? Its like a bad 4 letter word lol. Yet having snow in March isnt  all unusual --just so ready for Spring here. Happy birthday to Gage! Have a good weekend and have fun at the birthday party. Hugs and love.

What a wonderful set of "winter wonderland photos!  I couldn't decide which of the two I liked better -- they both are so good!  LOL, like being at the eye doctor: "one .... or two ..... one ..... or two ...."  Thank the stars that I don't have to "stick" with a choice: I can love either one, or both!

Great work as always -- you make me proud of you.

Sincerely,
MHogue

oh, and PS: I'm still working on that greenspace / little green acre blog -- the problem is so many photos, so many conversions (to make them web compatible) - and SUCH an OLD computer!! (can you say "Pentium III 350 Mhz")

Love the pictures, especially the barn one, it's beautiful. I was on my way to the p/t job last week with camera in tow & saw a deer in a field, but when I opened the car door (SREEK) it ran off....I got a picture of it's butt LOL...

Have a great weekend.

We had the same darn thing yesterday...  They even called off school ~ which I suppose was a good thing, because I wasn't feeling well enough to go in anyway!

Your photos are wonderful ~ especially the deer!  I always feel magic in the air, when I spot deer in the woods.

Have fun at the birthday party!  9 is such a fun age!

::hugs::

Donna,

The photos are wonderful!  They're both beautiful.  The one with the barn would make a great [gasp] Christmas card.

What wonderful pictures! As obnoxious as the snow is most of the time, I do always say that when it's fresh, clean, and sparkly....there isn't a sight that is much prettier, and you captured it perfectly! The deer are precious, I think they enjoyed getting their picture taken :)

Love & Pooh Hugs,
