Or almost. I had a great day today, and I did accomplish some things. Your normal domestic stuff. All laundry is folded and put away. I got some grocery shopping done. Cooked a pretty good dinner and had strawberry rhubarb pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. No I did NOT bake the pie. I cheated. It was yummy just the same.
The day was gorgeous so I did take a ride with my trusty camera looking for something. I had the windows open and I played my Ste CD on what some might consider an illegal volume. Ok, not just Ste but a few more of my favorites. I was just singing along, bopping around, and enjoying the wonderful weather. I found a different spot and was very happy with the pictures I got. I was actually on a bridge looking down on the creek and a very old bridge that is not used any longer. I think it might have been a railroad bridge, but to be honest I could not tell from where I stood. I just shot away.
I want to thank those of you who played along on the NHL Hockey Polls. It's just for fun, you know... shits and giggles. Hope everyone had a great day.... and wonderful weekend. Hard to believe it's over and back to work tomorrow. I would much rather play with my camera and pictures.... tho I'm sure you are pretty bored at this point.... sorry.

Don't you just love rustic old bridges?
There's just something about the idea of a bridge that will be standing, probably hundreds of years from now...with a constant rush of water cutting through grounds below, water bubbling and frothing just as it does today.
I don't know. It just seems romantic somehow.

D, great pics. All of mine recently seem to come "on the fly" while I am driving to or from work. I have a few days off, so maybe I will pump up the tires on my bike and get out and explore Ellicott Creek... if the weather forecast doesn't change....
