First I want to say I am not trying to be cold hearted regarding what has been happening in JLand over the course of the last few days. I've whined about my little troll harassing me and so much more has been happening to others. Much much worse things. Lots of folks have gotten hurt. Hurt deeply and there is a good chance that hurt will never heal. Sure we all bounce back from BS, but deep wounds, and violations of trust go way beyond. It's hard to get that back. Not just with those that violated, but it causes distrust in so many more, if not everyone. The world should not be like that. We should not have to question every one, have such guards up. Sure maybe it's not right to always believe in the good, but do we always have to look for the bad? Exploit it? It saddens me.
With all that said, I got sent this video at work from a client. As I watched I laughed, and then thought of JLand. Maybe I'm sick? I know I have a warped sense of humor, and I am sorry if it appears I am taking what has happened to so many lightly, I haven't. Not one bit, I am sick over it. I've gotten so many notices of journals gone private. Clicked on journal links only to find they are gone. Entries of good bye. I honestly feel/felt JLand was on the verge of blowing up. So I do hope we can look at this video, see the humor, and try a bit harder to be kind to one another. Not cause so much unnecessary pain and heartache, build the community back to what it once was. I am so sorry to all of you that have been having difficulties. It shouldn't be this way, it doesn't have to be. Hugs

Hi Donna....I guess I've been kind of in the dark about the J-Land activities. Probably for the best, too. It doesn't sound pretty. I find that sad, too. But, when you have a group of people together, there are always issues with something, I guess.
Too bad, too. I thought J-Land was above all of that.

I know a lot of people have gone private and it is so sad because some people have been so nasty with comments! I have, so far, been lucky with comments and I hope it stays that way.....!!

I don't know what's going on, but have noticed many going private also. I hope anyone who was hurt, is doing better......I hate that there are some mean people who cause problems for other. I also hope everyone will be able to continue their journals and we will be able to continue hearing about their lives and share with them again. I miss them.

A lot of people have gone. And i am sorry about that, but i feel the trouble makers have won. People i care alot about have gone with out saying anything.Thats hard to take, it hurts that people i care for have no regards for me, i feel like i have been punished, sorry lol Glad you are still here.

I'm trying to catch up on journal alerts today and this is all I am seeing that something happened and people are leaving, I am so confused and speechless. These friendships have been going on for years, I just can't understand why people must act this way. So sad....
You have been nothing but kind to me, I can't imagine anyone having a bad thing to say about you. I hope this storm quickly passes but I guess things will never be the same.

About J~land, it can be such a nasty place, with bitching, backstabbing and what-not. You can be minding your own business, then the next thing you know, BOOM, you're somehow involved.
This kinda thing is happening now and it's awful. I wont mention specifics, but some things have to be dropped, and NOW, 'cos it can really affect everyone! I remember when this used to fun.
