ok...how do I save...I clicked on the link they gave and and all I got was a blank page.....I have 2 VERY IMPORTANT privite blogs that I must save...can anyone help????please!!!!
OMG i'm freaking out. They are gonna delete our journals?!?!? I'm going to need someone to explain to me in layman terms on how to save all those memories i've been journaling for 5 years now!
it's VERY True. AOL Hometown is what runs AOL Journals...and they are closing their doors October 31st!
The paid employees by AOL that have blogs on here like Magic Smoke SHOULD be writing about it...instead they are leaving the community to figure it out themselves and that's not right! They are doing a HORRIBLE job at notifying us all!

I've been trying to figure out if this includes journals or just the hometown pages. Do you know? I know when I closed a journal down it asked if I wanted to save my photos in a file for later use. Emmi

Totally irresponsible to all of 'their' loyal fans and customers and those who hung in for nearly five years through many, many ups and downs.
Dang ... now the search will go on for new places to hang our hats and once again we'll be in the position of 'losing' friends.
ARGH!!! Should have left three years ago during the last debacle. :::sigh:::
