New Year Feast

             happynewyear2tartan.gif

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I find New Year's Eve we have a huge meal.  All the good pleasures, steak, seafood, you name it and it is generally on the menu someplace.  I am not sure what we will do this year, but I know we will not 'want' for anything.  Anyone have a traditional New Years meal?

We usually celebrate New Years Eve with a meet fondue.
Chicken, Pork and Beef.....different salads and a fruit platter.
It is fun to eat for hours with good friends and family.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

There are all kinds of wonderful, delicious foods for New Years.
But one thing that MUST be in every house on New Years Eve.......... is.......
Cheese, Sausage, Crackers, and Spicey Brown Mustard.
It must be the German in me.....

We normally have pork. The Scots have haggis as well as the pie Jan mentioned. There should always be shortbread in the house too!! Jeannette.

My husband is part German. They always celebrate with a pork dinner. I usually make a roast. This year I have ribs. I don't care for pork so much, but I do like ribs. Have a good New Year and a better year.
