Standing in the rain wondering

                                rainlady.gif

I happened to be playing around with some graphics and this one reminded me a bit of the feelings I've had regarding my journal.  When I started out months back I had no idea what was in store for me or for it.  It seems to have taken on a life of its own.  I still like to write a bit, but I was never one to 'lay' my life out there for all to see.  That really hasn't changed.  Besides, I would hate to bore you all with the mundane happenings of my life, so I keep that pretty short.  As I learn more and more about graphics and experiment with different things I find I really love it and enjoy it.  I love sharing the creations with you, and sure ok, I even kind of like the attention you give me with your comments.  :::giggle::: See, I can admit it.

My dilemma is so very minor compared to what is happening in the world and with others personal lives, but it is a dilemma just the same.  I am not sure what to do or what direction to go in with my journal.  Do I leave it as is and just have a hodge podge of entries and graphics.  Do I pick one and go with it.  You may or may not have noticed that I try to create a graphic for that specific entry, or I find one in my completed projects folder that fits what I want to write.  Over the past couple of weeks I found myself doing a lot of entries with just graphics for the season, and knowing that will be over soon I'd hate to limit myself to keeping with the 'times.'  Do I use my D's Designs for just the graphics and have so many miss them because they don't go to that one.

I guess my risque' entry got me thinking maybe I shouldn't have put that in this journal, but the other.  If I offended anyone I am truly sorry, it wasn't my intent.  I guess, I feel like I'm standing in the rain wondering what direction I should take or just stay on the path that lay before me.

I am starting to think....YOU THINK TOO MUCH~  ; )
You are very talented & very giving, don't second guess yourself.
That entry could have been alittle daring, but it was tasteful.  It WAS artistic!
Come out of the rain~

Okay  . . . here's my two cents lol.

I go to your other journal "DsDesigns" to see what new graphics you've created. I read this one because it's about you and what's going on in your life. The graphics you put in here are just an addition that make your journal entries more creative. I like reading about you !! Hope this helps.

Peace & Blessings,
Poochie

Stop worrying about what everyone else thinks! A journal is sapposed to me about your personal expression and reflect what YOU feel and think. Sure encouragement and advice is always appreciated but ultimitly (sp*) it is about you, not what other's want. I have noticed you have been putting more of your graphic art in this journal rather then your graphic jpurnal but if your art reflects your daily life when created and compliments what you are trying to express in your main journal then I think it is fine. As for your more risque' art you expressed. personally I like it. If anyone is offended then they are not human. We all have desires and sexual expression. Besides now days people are more expressive with thier sexualality and it is not all in the closet like it once was. Theses are not leave it to beaver days. I think that your graphic was beautiful and vert tasteful, nothing offending about it. I think you should just go with YOUR flow and express yourself fully.

Your Friend,
Jessica

Another thing, the human body, male or female has a beauty all it's own. It should not be looked at as nasty unless that is what the images are TRYING to reflect such as porn. A breast, skin, a naked image can be very beautiful.

I have to second the opinios of my freind jessica. Your Journal is Your Journal. You shouldnt have to explain what you are trying to acomplish.
Art is creation from the soul, filled with emotions. How can that be wrong ??
As far as the Graphics, I too have to agree with Jessica. The human body can be a beautiful work of art when viewed with such admiration for its uniqness.
I think your graphics are classy, and very tasteful.
Keep up the great work.

Risque?  I thought it was beautiful.  I love both of your journals.  It would make me happy to have just keep on doing what you have been doing.  the glimpses into your life and your beautiful graphics make you very special.  Whatever you decided is fine.  Bet we'll all be there whatever choice you make.  Happy New Year, Pennie

How you ever found that risque` picture of me in that champagne glass I`ll never know!! ROFL
I like the idea of your graphics in D`s Designs and then more of a personal entry in this journal. Then again, I read them both so it doesn`t matter to me. No matter how you decide, I`ll keep reading.  :0)

Penny

I agree with most of the other comments. It's your journal and we love it!! I read both of them so it doesn't really matter which one you put your graphics on. Jeannette.

Your journal is what YOU want to make of it, however, I have enjoyed what you do here with snippets of your life interspersed with your great graphics.  I thought your risque' graphics were fun and enjoyed them.  You have a lot of readers who really like coming here, but if you want to try something different, we'll come by to read that, too.

My opinion is that you should keep your journal as it is.  Some people do have a graphics journal and a personal journal, but you seem to combine the two very well.  My vote is to keep this as is.  :)

Lisa
