The Bills........

........ sucked but dinner was great!  Got a last minute invite to my sisters house for the football game and prime rib.  Who would turn that down????  Not I!

Off to her house for the game.  Within the first quarter the Bills had a commanding lead of 21-0.  It  was fun to watch some offense for a change and JP looked good with protection.  Then, who knows what the hell happened but they were only able to muster up an additional 2 points from a safety for the remainder of the game.  Needless to say the Dolphins came back and won 24-23.  Gawd the Bills sucked air!!

But dinner was excellent.  My nephew had to show it off along with the salad he made.  Mashed tators, rolls, corn.  Strawberry shortcake with homemade whipped cream for dessert.  It was a dinner fit for kings.  When I saw that beef come out of the oven I was amazed at how big it was and thought my sister and her family would be eating it for a week.  NOT!  When all was said and done there was a plate with a few slices.  Maybe I should have taken an after picture too!  I didn't realize she was feeding an Army but feed them she did.  Thank you!!  :)

My boys are in Colorado and at this point are winning 1-0 with only a few minutes gone in the first period.  They didn't play well the other night after having several games in4 nights so I may have to stay up and watch a bit more of this one :)

Holy Moley!!!! That is a large roast. Wish I could afford one of those!!!!

On the Bills? They remind me of the Vikings! Although the Vikings are doing great the last 5 games. Pat says, 'they've gone from 2 and 5 to 7 and 5.' Wow, I'm impressed but Brad Johnson is playing. I love that guy, have since I saw him as a rookie/third stringer back in 1990. I figure I am just bad luck, if I watch the games, they lose so I just don't watch and listen and have to take a peek at the replay every now and then for those good plays.

Remember when the Vikings played Atlanta in the play-offs in 1999? Well, we were at that game and the Vikings could've won but they ran out the damn clock and forced and overtime. I was so incredibly p-o'ed with them. Still haven't forgiven them. They had the Superbowl in the palm of their hands that year. I remember it well because I was 8 months pregnant with our son. People around us kept asking if I was ok or if I was in labor or anything. It was kinda funny.

Football really frustrates me! But it is one sport that I could sit and watch but choose not to. The Vikings have done some pretty stupid things in their personal time which I'm sure you've been privvy to. Kind of embarrassing to be a Vikings fan.

Yes, the Bills sucked.  I came home to watch the game on tape after I got off of work.  At first I thought the Bills had this game wrapped up after two Touchdowns in four minutes, then along comes the fourth quarter and my my tape runs out.  I had to wait until the 11 O'clock news to come on.  Then when I finally see the score I was shocked!  How could they cough up lead like that????  Frustration!

What a great picture.  I don't particularly care for meat, but the salad looks absolutely wonderful.  Pennie

Hi, Bills fan! We're fans too. And prime rib! One of our favorite meals. We just stopped by to say thanx for letting us use the fine lighthouse. It'll go perfectly with our small tribute.
