Kicking my Butt

The pain is subsiding, but I have to say this is kicking my butt!  I have pain here but I don't think it's the incision or where the teeth have been taken, it's much deeper.  I have to think the spots of pain are located where my 'healthier' teeth were.  I am not black and blue, but my jaw line is sore and up high on either side of my nose.  I've taken the Motrin and the pain pills, I just don't like the loopy feeling.  I feel like I've been swimming in a sea of booze.  LOL hence my little graphic.  I get up sit for a bit and then it is back to lay down.  I swear as soon as my head hits the pillow I am sound asleep and out for hours.  I am not use to napping during the day, let alone sleeping for hours on end.  My goal was to have the surgery and be able to eat on Thanksgiving, which I did.  I was just hoping I'd be up and at 'em by now.  Maybe I am trying to rush things, but I was hoping to feel a bit better by today.

I did take some time and work on a few graphics, but I just don't have the creative juices that I like.  I've done a few and redone them and then finally just deleted.  No doubt it is the foggy feeling and the pain :(  Here are a few and I will try and get more up later.  I do have a new sig tag that was done prior to my surgery I just wanted to wait until I was feeling better.  I will post it tonight, but keep in mind it might take me a bit longer to fill requests.  Feel free to check it out at D's Designs  If it's not there when you get there give me a few, it will be :)

I'm off to do my other entry and then it's back to the couch.  I hope everyone recovered from the 'eats' and are doing good this Friday evening.

Hugs

~d

Just take your time getting better!  I know, I am as impatient as you are and expected to feel better within a few days, but it does take a little bit to get back to "normal".  Your body went through trauma so of course you aren't back to your self yet.  Just enjoy the pain pills and all the sleep you are getting!  You will be missing it soon enough.  Don't worry about graphics, we can wait until you are feeling better.  Emma just loves Tom & Jerry but I won't be taking that one unless of course he was drinking milk.  LOL!  Sending feel better ((((((HUGS))))))!
Love,
Lisa

your gums and all will be sore for at least a week or two. it hurts along side your nose because of the eye teeth go up there, jawbones usually hurt due to wisdom teeth being so close to them. be careful, cause i do know a few people who have gotten dry socket from putting teeth right in after they were pulled. If that pain doesn't go away real soon, call the dentist immediately. Hope it heals quickly and pain goes away. (((((((((hugs))))))))))
Cindy.
ps, i snagged me these graphics, they are adorable.

Please take care .. hugs,

Hey Girl...  so sorry things aren't going as you planned, but better days are coming.   Take advantage of sleeping during the day, because that's less time to have to be aware of the discomfort!   Hang in there....((((Donna))))))

You are impatient, I can tell.  Just allow youself the time to heal that your body needs. It didn't take overnight to get like it was....and it won't take overnight to heal, either. You just had it done Tuesday. That's only 3 days of healing.  Start to worry in a couple of more days if you don't see improvment.  I'd say by this coming Wed you should definitely see improvment.  Meantime, it's Jello!!! Take it easy this weekend. ok?
Love the snags. Got 'em all, of course.
Thank you.
Pam

I like your mouse in the Martini Glass.  That kind of mouse I can handle.  The real ones could make me walk on water.  Eek!  :)

Donna...massage your jaws for about 30 minutes...drink a couple of glasses of water...the jaw points are right under your ears....I grind my teeth and I have to do this every once in awhile to relieve the acid build up....your jaws will feel better if you do this.....try and do it when your watching TV....-Raven

Donna, I am so sorry you are still so sore.  I hope it subsides soon so that you can start to enjoy life again.  At least you know that the magic of healing is occuring and in a week or so's time, you will be feeling yourself again (or almost!). Take care, rest and get better soon.  Love Caroline

I was on the big painkillers at the beginning of the month, so we sort of tag-teamed November. I hope you feel better.
