Congratulations to the Buffalo Sabres for winning the President's Trophy for the 2006-2007 season. First time in franchise history. The trophy is awarded to the team that has the best record in the NHL for the season. It is not a guarantee of a Stanley Cup win, but it does assure them home ice advantage throughout. Nothing like playing a deciding game 7 on your own ice, in front of your own fans. They do have one more game to play tomorrow afternoon, but the winner of this trophy was locked up today. They had been head to head with Detroit the last couple days, but with them tying in points Buffalo won by virtue of having more wins. Way to go boys the city of Buffalo is so proud of you. Keep focused and your sights on the main prize :) Congrats to Detroit for a great season as well. Things should be locked up this evening for who plays who in the play offs next week. Or... maybe the New York Islanders will pull the upset tomorrow.... time will tell.
On another note Tim Connolly played today. Welcome back Timmay!!! Tim was hurt last year during the playoffs and has not played since. Today was his first game back and it was said he'd only play a bit to get back into the groove. Well that didn't take long he scored about 10 minutes in to the first period. He had a total of 16 shifts and just over 13 minutes played. Not bad... not bad at all! Won't take me long to get pictures of him in the new logo ::evil grin:: as you see I had to use an old picture for the graphic... but he HAD to be in this picture.

Hi, Donna! Hey--do you ever give them these graphics? Or have you made a season-to-season scapbook for them? You ought to think about that. I bet they would make you their official scrapbook-maker if they saw what you could do! This stuff is awesome!
