I haven't lost interest :)

So I had a little creativity block the other day, but I have not lost interest.  I'm still going to town on the graphics trying to decide which to do first and what to do with them.  I've experimented with a few and didn't like them so they are back on the drawing board to try again.  Here are a few I did today while out from under the blanket.

I've been watching the Olympics, I think a few of you have been as well.  I am still amazed at the scoring system for skating.  Once again a pair that fell is in the lead.  The 'best' haven't skated yet, but how can that be?  Also, can someone tell me when they stopped wearing the netting on their outfits?  Wardrobe malfunction anyone?  Exposed tattoos?  Not that there is anything wrong with tattoos, but I was stunned to see it on an ice dancer.

How about the 'power house' hockey teams?  US and Canada both losing.  Not sure how close they are to being in the 'play off rounds' or out, but they were supposed to be the best.  I didn't agree with the US being one of the favorites but according to the TV they were.

Anyone see the snow coming down on the ski hills?  It looked like that here part of the day.

Deares Donna,
My husband is the skating and soccer man at home . Did you mean the figure skaters? I wrote a blog about two of them. I thought is was weird that the Chinese couple (she) slid acroso the ice and still managed a high score after she strted over!unheard of before!Alos he sadi that theyare not supposed to push eahc other over at all!
Yeah Monponsett has been pretty unhappy about the ice hockey!and howa bout our first African American skater huh!!?!

I was surprised as well with the leaders of the pair the fell leading.  I just figure that I don't know enough. lol.  I missed the tattoos.  I think you are right though things change.  It is that way in alot of place where people are competing. I see it in schools on the dance teams and drama tournaments.  I guess things are changing on us Donna.  Enjoy the rest of the three day weekend.  TerryAnn.

I think the Olympics this year has been pretty sad for the American team.  I missed the ice skating.  Too tired to watch.  Linda

Wonderful graphics, I particularly like the sunset one.  Yes, I have been watching the ice skating as well.  Saw the second round of the ice dancing last night, boy that lady took a fall.  Did you see it?  Did you see the face on the Italian woman when her partner brought her down, it was a picture.  Instead of taking their bows she just stood and glared at him and had a little argument, then she refused to look at him whilst they were waiting for their marks.  They hardly wear anything the women, do they?  One of these days a strap will break ............ lol

Yep I saw some of that snow on the olympics :-)  That's mad that you were getting the same!!  I don't understand the skating scoring system either.

Hi D,
I really love the first one you did above! I can't get over how you make the water look so real! I like how the edges seem framed but with just enough light to blend right in with the water. And I love angels...she's a beauty!

The second one looks like where I'd like to be right now! So relaxing and calm.

I wonder about how they score the skaters myself. I don't know how someone can take a fall and be above another that didn't. I know they take the technical difficulty level into account, don't they? But what good is it if you fall on one of them? To my eye, which is not trained to judge, it just seems common sense that if you don't fall and your performance is on track, you look better than someone who did fall. Just like life...One we'll probably never know the answer to! I sometimes think the judges may be partial to some...just my opinion! LOL

I hope your snow goes away! Ours melted yesterday and I'd be happy never to see it again...until NEXT YEAR! LOL

Have a good start to the week & thanks again for sharing your beautiful work!
Hugs,
Darla ;o)

I am a bit confused here....Are the original tags by you as well or did you take someone elses tags and just add animation to them? I hope if they are someone elses you took them and added animation with permission!

Hey Donna,
That angel pix is awsome, the shape of the water/background looks like  the usa graphic, very cool!! Are you rooting for the usa team to win? lol.. Yes I agree about the skating competition. the judges sinks...): I don't know how those competitors wear those outfits either. Some looks like thet have no protections on their skin espectally on that cold ice, tatoos? I didn't noticed..
