Sleeping Prince

         DsDesignsPrinceSleeping.gif

Just a quick update to let you know our little prince, Gage, is doing well.  He pretty much rested and slept throughout the day and complained very little of pain or discomfort.  He's such a trooper.  He has a loft bed so his Mom & Dad pulled his mattress down to the floor and hooked him up.  TV, DVD, & Playstation, all in his room.  He's golden!  His little sister has been sweet and helping as much as she can.  I will probably stop over to see him tomorrow, if he is up to visitors.  Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers.

I'm so glad Gage is doing well, bless him and his little sister for helping him! Kids are so resiliant when it comes to ops, I've seen so many at work who just want to get up and get on with their lives after surgery. Have a good sunday. Glad to hear Gage is doing well.  It was nice of his parents to "hook him up" for the duration of his convalesence.  Hope he has a speedy recovery!

Glad to hear the little guy is weathering the storm well, D.  My son had his gallbladder removed at age 17.  Granted, he wasn't a baby but the surgery was at 3.  He threw up at least three times post surgery but still was sent home at 7 in the evening.  It's all about saving money and not really caring how well the patient is faring.  Joey definitely should have stayed overnight.  He continued throwing up and was so ill, he was back in the emergency room all day the next day.  Chris
