What a Ride!

      DsDesignsMyHeros.jpg

I am so proud of my boys right now.  They never gave up.  Not when Kalinin went out with a broken ankle in the beginning of the play off run, not when Connolly went out with a concussion, not when Numminnen went out with a groin/hip flexor, Tallinder with a broken arm, or when McKee came down with a staph infection.  They fought their asses off and played with such intensity, such pride!  As a team.  Lindy did a great job of coaching and deflected so much away from his players at all costs.  Golisano, thank you so much keeping my boys here!  Be proud Western New York they laid it all out, gave it their all, but came up short.  I'm so sad, but so busting with pride.  We will all survive, and we will be back next year no doubt.  A definite force!  Congrats to my hero's!  Be proud and hold your heads high!  You gave each team you played a ride for their money and fought harder with each loss/hurdle you came up against.  No excuses, you gave your all, we are proud of you!

Yes, my boys lost game 7 this evening in such an intense hard fought game.  Congrats to Carolina for becoming the 2006 Eastern Conference Champs and your chance at Lord Stanley.

As I already told you Donna, I'm sorry they lost, but know how proud you are of how hard they fought, with so many horrible injuries....they kept on fighting!!  True champions!!

Take Care,

It's hard when they fought so well and still lost out but this is sport and it's the taking part that counts too. Jeannette xx
