~ Thought I'd Share ~

I mean 'cmon if I have it going through my head, you should too.  Get into now, sing along.  Found two and couldn't decide.  First is actually from the show.  How sad is it that I remember this!?!  Second has the words incase you need them to sing along, or are to young to even know this song.   LMAO

Love ya!

Well no wonder.... it's because the 'drums keep poundin' a rythym to the brain'.... LOL!!!  I love how they looked so in love back then... I remember being so very sad when they broke up, they were my idols.
I still really like Cher!!  I have a friend that had the good fortune through a friend of hers, to have lunch at Cher's house once... she said that Cher treated her wonderfully, she was very nice and very hospitable!!!

This just cracked me up!  Not sure if I should be happy that I remember or sad because I remember.  Thanks for sending me off to bed with a great feeling of being old!  Good day tomorrow.

Oh your too funny.  I sing that song often when at work ... things happen, folks get worked up and still 'the beat goes on' underneath it all.

Now, I'll be singing it before I have to.

OMG, Donna ... have you ever opened the "memory geyser" for me!  Sonny & Cher were at the height of popularity when hubby and I met in (gasp!) 1971 ... I was very tall, thin (not any longer;o) and had hair to my waist. Hubby was a tad shorter, had long hair and a moustache (still has that, but lots less hair LOL)... anyway... to shorten this story .. at the time my SILs were 8 & 10 yrs old  and they dubbed us "Sonny & Cher".  Such a sweet memory ... thankyou for helping me feel that carefree, hopeful time again!  Hoping all is well with you.
Take care ~
...and Peace!
